At Heart Beatz, community is not just a word, it’s something we see come to life every day in the programmes we offer. We see it in the strong bonds that form between the youth and staff in our after-school programmes. We see it in the care that our early childhood educators take to connect with children through play. In the nutritious meals created in our community kitchens. In the connections formed in our EarlyON Child and Family Centres. We know that the route to a deeper connection is caring people coming together every day with a common purpose. We’ve been active in our community for over 40 years and we are proud to continue to offer a foundation to help it grow and thrive.
Our team includes passionate and skilled individuals who love what they do. From the enthusiastic leaders who know how to connect with youth, to early childhood educators who provide their expertise in our child care centres, to the managers who provide a vision for our overall programming, we are all here to listen to and serve our community.
Heart Beatz offers a range of services for many age groups and needs in our community. Our programmes include:
Our child care services provide safe, enriching environments for children from infancy to age 12. Our caring team of early childhood educators connect with your children and create stimulating, supportive programming that helps them to reach their full potential!
Our youth programmes keep children and youth engaged and help them learn what it means to be part of a community. We also have a lot of fun together! Youth and children in our programmes are supported to make new friends, learn life skills and develop their leadership skills by helping to plan programmes tailored just for them.
Our community kitchens offer participants a place to practice their cooking skills. Everyone participates in menu selection, food preparation, cooking, and, of course, eating! Along the way we all learn together about healthy food and good nutritional choices. We like to have fun in the kitchen!
Our after-school programmes provide students with a range of activities in a safe and positive environment. From help with homework to sports and physical activities to health and wellness. Our supportive staff help to keep children and youth busy and engaged.
We connect families with the support, education and resources they need to foster deeper relationships. Parents and kids can drop in to participate in stimulating, family-friendly activities like reading and games. They also find support networks, connect with other parents with young children and learn about other family services in the area.
Summer camps provide children and youth with a safe and positive environment where they can make new friends. Youth and children participate in a range of activities that help them to learn new skills and have fun doing it. We also go on some exciting field trips!
We’re very excited to announce we have a newly revised website in development that will provide information about our programmes and share stories about our community. Please bookmark this page and check back soon!
